Ice
(a live-video installation co-produced with laura lee)

overview
Live video is projected in real-time onto a slowly melting block of ice - capturing the viewer's image in the eroding space of memory. As a visitor ponders this installation, his or her own presence (through the form of light/video) adds to the overall destruction of the piece. Images are burned into the object - which is eventually completely lost in the process. 'Ice' was publicly displayed for three days in an air conditioned room. At the end of this period, the ice was completely melted - leaving behind only an empty pedestal.
