Expanding the logo to form the persistent navigation bar, we were able to increase the size of the logo and tie it in with the content. We overcame the challenge of using gold on the screen (dictated by the company's color scheme) by using the color only in graphical elements on the page. The navigation bar is in fact a gradient simulating the reflections natural to gold which was placed behind the navigational elements. We used a similar treatment to create the gold effect in the logo text.

The left bar is designed to provide extra white space, adding to the open feeling of the page, while also providing room for additional pieces of content, submenus, and links.

Images used on the page were color-corrected in order to maintain the consistent green accent color and tie in the photographic images with the menus, quote boxes, and line elements used throughout the site.
